Computer loses signal after couple hours

After gaming for a couple hours (Rust, Fortnite, Conan Exiles) my monitor blacks out and says "No signal". The only thing that brings it back is a hard reset. When it goes black I can still hear and talk to my friends, along with being able to hear the game. I'm not too sure what the problem could be. I have already watched cpu and gpu temps and they seem to be fine. Any help is appreciated!

I had a falty Video card that would do that (or monitor).. it was random for me.. what would make it work for me was to unplug both the HDMI and power cable from the monitor then plug it back in.. sometimes just the HDMI cable would make it work though.. OR power on the monitor.. if its the vid card.. then yea.. new one? but it could be something else possible.

I unplug it all and plug it back in and it won't come back on. It also seems like I lose keyboard and mouse control but not the sound

IF you can I would see if you can borrow a different video card.. OR just get a new one? as it could be the video card.. but it could be more....

that system is an older one so maybe it time to upgrade... I went from an FX-8150 to a Ryzen 7 1800X and wow what a difference. (still have the old system sitting around.. gotta get to tossing it in the recycling)..
