Computer Monitor Choices?

Hey I have my computer parts picked out. Here they are http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DPXCqs I want to get a 1080p monitor, but what one should I get? Also can you play PS3 on monitors or do you need a tv. I know my build is build for higher than 1080p like 1440p but the good ones are so expensive, but I might get one in the future or get another 1080p monitor. Any suggestions?

There's lots you can get. No budget given. I just picked one.

Yeah that's why I'm a little unsure because why is that one so much more expensive they look like the same specs

The extra you pay for is the 144Hz refresh rate.

I used to own the VG248QE http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B2HH7G0 and highly recommend it. I went from a 60Hz refresh rate monitor to 144Hz and will never go back. As long as you have the horsepower to push more than 60 fps or turn down the graphics quality to push past, the performance is outstanding for gaming.
