I was finally able to do a clean install of windows (loaded a USB Windows 10 installer and chose the keep nothing option) and now Windows works great. The only problem I've noticed is that when I want to use it again, it needs to boot up twice. What I mean is that the first time i boot it up it turns on for like 10-15 seconds then shuts off. Then I have to press the power button again and the loading time is fairly long (about 3 minutes average) until i'm at the home screen and it's pretty laggy until after 5 minutes from boot time. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

Yes because the OS is setup for the old motherboard. You are having driver conflicts and its causing the crazy behavior.

I just replaced the motherboard yesterday and everything is at default nothing has been changed.

Did you replace with the exact same make/model motherboard?
Why???

Can you give us a list of your components? Also did you install windows with this motherboard or a previous one?

No I replaced from an ASUS Sabertooth Z87 to a ASRock Fatal1ty Z97

Do a clean install of your OS on the Motherboard you plan on keeping.

I installed windows before on the previous mobo.
My current build is:
I5-4670k
Gtx 1070
ASRock Fatal1ty Z97
16 GB Vengence Ram
Corsair 500w CX PSU

So you're saying to wipe my HDD entirely clean then install Windows 10 from USB through BIOS?
