Computer no longer hearing my microphone after installing realtek driver

My microphone was working perfectly fine. I decided to install the realtek HD audio driver to improve sound quality and sound changing. However, after I installed it, my micophone no longer worked. I tried uninstalling the driver, but it still won't recognize. I tried switching the jacks, but that still didn't work. Any idea how to fix?

Found out the problem....turns out my microphone was turned off.
