So I finished a build on Friday and was playing Arma 3, Overwatch etc just fine. So its safe to assume my build was just fine. The next day my computer doesnt turn on. Like not even booting. I try my old psu and I got to my bios screen. From this I determined that my motherboard, cpu, and ram are good. Problem is that I noticed my fan controller doesnt work anymore. I tried multiple molex cables to it and it doesnt turn on. I tried testing my fans individually with a 4 pin to molex and a molex to 6 pin right into my psu. only 1 fan works. But whenever I plug anything other than my gpu, cpu, and motherboard into my psu my computer turns off. PC part picker showed that the build should only take around 400 watts. I have a 550 watt psu. Then I was having a problem where when I booted up, everything would turn off a second later. Now I have a problem where its not booting again.
So my questions are: Any idea why my fan controller no longer works? Any idea why my build is no longer booting?
