So, essentially I tried out this hdd on another computer and it loaded fine actually. However every time I do it on my computer it shows up this message.

These are the following things I have done to attempt tackle this problem.

* I unplugged hdd, swapped all wires, tried out different sata ports, unplugged everyother sata connections.

* I went into my bios and went into boot options and my HDD was there, I assigned every boot option I could literally think off.

Despite my efforts the message still pops ups...

Either your HDD or the system boot files may have the problem.
So make sure the boot drive is connected to the 1st SATA port. You may try to use the "Last Known Good Configuration" method to boot, how to http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-easily-repair-windows-7-boot-problems-using-startup-repair/

If you can't, then you have to either reinstall the OS, or use the " Startup Repair" method, how to http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-easily-repair-windows-7-boot-problems-using-startup-repair/

Hey there, @CosmicWolf293!

I suspect that the issue could be coming from your hard drive just as @cin19 mentioned. 🙁 If the suggested solutions from above don't help you recognize the HDD properly, I'd advise you to check how it will get detected in another working PC system (if you have access to one). Make sure you put the HDD there as a secondary drive and then see how it will pop up in Windows' Disk management and BIOS. Another alternative would be to connect it externally via a docking station or an external enclosure (with an AC adapter) to see if it will get connected from there.
If the issues with the hard drive connectivity are present in multiple systems, it's probably best to get in touch with the manufacturer's customer support and check if it's still covered by the limited warranty. If it is, you should be able to RMA the HDD and get a replacement from them. If you manage to get it detected properly in Windows, I'd strongly recommend you backup all your important files from it elsewhere and then use the HDD's brand-specific diagnostic tool to check up on the health and SMART status.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted. :)
