So I was at a lan party, accidentally spilled some water and a drop got into the psu. When I later tried to start it it worked after being force shutdown cause of the fluid. Then it worked flawlessly til I got home after the lan party was done.

It wouldn't boot. At first it got beeps that meant that it couldn't detect the ram so I switched slots and then later tried another ram, then I wouldn't get the ram error but it still wouldn't start, I once again tried switching the slots, unplugging different cables and putting them back in and most basic stuff that I could do.

When I start it it all lights up, fans are spinning and it looks like it should boot, at first I also got the periphals connected via USB to light up but that doesn't work anymore. I don't think that the drop of fluid caused this because it worked for a while after.

Now after all this testing I'm thinking that it is something wrong with the motherboard even if it lights up. The PC is about 1 year old and I built it myself.

Specs:
Asus Maximus Formula VII
Asus GTX 970 Strix OC
Intel i5 4690K OC to 4.3Ghz
Evga Supernova G2 750W Gold Certified and Modular
(At first I had a G.Skill Ripjaw 8GB but I switched to HyperX Savage 2x 8GB)

Good details. Sounds like one crazy party. The first step in troubleshooting here is to think outside the box, and by that I mean try not to blame that drop of water. If everything worked well after the water incident, but not after you got home, then perhaps something got loose(r) during transport.

It might be a pain in ass to do, but take the mobo out; put it on cardboard or a phonebook (any non-conductive surface) and then build up from there. You'll want to install one DIMM, closest to the CPU; connect your monitor to the mobo via the HDMI or DP. Ensure that the P4 connector is securely fastened to the mobo. To turn on the mobo, press the Power button on the mobo.

Do you get a display? If not, press the Mem OK button, and try again.
