Hello. I have a prebuilt from around 2019, specs are

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz

GTX 1660 graphics card

asrock b360 ib r1 Motherboard

it came with a single 8 gig ram card and recently I wanted to upgrade to 16gb. The new ram I got is Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Desktop Memory Kit. I've checked compatibility with my motherboard before purchasing it. I'm having an issue where my computer will not register the ram at all or boot off it. When I use my old ram card my computer boots just fine. Even with the 2 new cards in my computer boots fine as long as the old ram card is inserted. It doesn't detect the new ram in my bios or anywhere in windows. I've tried various troubleshooting methods and solutions. I've reseated the ram, various times, spent about an hour testing each card in each slot in multiple combinations (im aware of the specific slots you need to put ram in spread out) I reset my cmos, I discharged my powersupply, I've basically taken apart my entire computer to make sure there were no loose connections. I've also updated my bios. I've contacted both corsair support and the manufacture for my computer and they both came to the conclusion that there is some compatibility issue that isn't correctly listed online or that the ram kit I recieved is defective. I'm making this post as a last ditch effort to see if anyone can think of any solutions before I bite the bullet and get a refund.

That shows up as a motherboard in a Cyberpower PC prebuilt machine. See if your platform is pending a BIOS update;

if not, you're out of luck on the ram kit.

Got a link to the ram kit you picked out later?

I reset my cmos
Clear the CMOS by disconnecting from the wall and display, then removing the CMOS battery from the board, press and hold down the power button for 30secs to drain any residual power then replace the battery after 30mins.
