Computer not posting until bios reset after overclock 2 days ago

I overclocked my cpu (R5 1600) 2 days ago. The day of the overclock it was fine, the day after it also booted fine and gamed good but whenn I tried to boot up my pc today it didnt even post anymore multiple tries also getting it of the power grid for some time. it only posted and booted again after I resseted the bios does anyone know why this could happen. first I thought it might be the overclock but that would be weird because it was already 2 days running without issues

It probably was the overclock and it reached some sort of tipping point. Does depend on your full setup though...If you have got it working then drop the overclock a notch and test with Prime95 or AIDA64 for stability first...an hour at least on both runs..
