So a while ago i had a problem where my PC took too long to start up( it was powering, the fans were moving and the lights on but nothing was showing on the screen for well over 1min) . I replaced the power supply unit and this didnt really make much of a difference (it was working well for the first two or so restarts ).

Note, after it has gotten to the windows screen it performs the same as always.

However about an hour ago i received the blue screen of death after i unplugged my USB wifi adapter (an Asus adapter) as it wasn't connecting to the internet and i hoped to simply re-insert it. After i did that however i received the blue screen of death!

My PC then decided to turn off and stayed in a sort of status where it was on (fans spinning, light on) but it was not starting up for well over 5mins. It was here where i decided to switch off my PC and try booting it again. However i kept getting the same result!

I was then alerted to a sort of beep test by someone I know (they stated that it might be the motherboard, so i unplugged my ram sticks and tried to boot me PC as i was told this should produce some beeping sounds if my motherboard is not at fault). However there were no beep sounds and now my PC has no response when I try to boot it up.

I have no idea what the problem could be and I would greatly appreciate some help please. Thank you!

-Note, i put this under motherboards category as i sort of believe my motherboard might be at fault? I got my PC back in 2014 and have only ever replaced my power supply unit and my HDD.

Yea last time the lights would turn on and the fans would spin but it would take a long time to actually start up and show anything on the screen. What are the chances that it would be my processor however?? Is there anyway i can check to see which of the two it is??

I believe it is the motherboard personally but i'm not 100% certain.
