So I turned my computer on this afternoon and my keyboard and mouse weren't working so I switched them from the usb 2.0 ports to the 3.0 and they work just fine, only now my external wireless internet hub won't work in the 2.0 port. I've tried the front usb 2.0 ports and it's the same story. The motherboard is an asrock 980DE3/U3S3 and I couldn't find any drivers for it.

Solution
Could you open device manager and look for any hardware showing errors Typically usb 2.0 is part of the chipset, so the chipset driver would be the one you're looking for. All the drivers are located here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/980DE3U3S3/

I couldn't find the drivers but I opened up my case and pushed in one of the front usb connectors, then powered on my computer again, it said the os didn't boot so I restarted it a few more times and now all the usb ports work, I appreciate your help anyway, thanks.
