I'm very new to computers, so I'll need help to find this out..
I just got a new computer, but as soon as I got it I noticed that it's running somewhat slowly. I brushed it off, but as soon as I tried running games on it - it got worse. Everything is laggy and most of the time I can't even get to settings to turn down the graphics.
It could be that my specs are just bad, but I'd like to know where exactly the "weak" point are so I can get them switched up if possible.
I run an Intel Quadcore 13-8100 CPU and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card with 8GB RAM.
Since it's completely new it shouldn't have any viruses or such, yet when I try to run BDO, ESO or APB Reloaded on it - it's just trash. I ran BDO with an FPS of 1. My internet speed is, and has always been, pretty good so nothing should be wrong with my ping.
Could it be that the games are just too heavy, and does that mean it would be a bad idea to try to run OW on it too?
