Hey guys, so i recently built a computer about 3-4 weeks ago. All was going well until today, which i installed mcafee antivirus plus 2013 which i got for free when purchasing windows 8.
Hardware:
Phantom 410
CPU: Intel i5 3570k
PSU: OCZ Modxstream 700w
MotherBoard: Asrock z77 Extreme 4
RAM: Corsair vengeance 4x2
HDD: WD 500GB Black
Video Card:None yet
The problem that i am having is that it won't shut down now. When i installed mcafee, I noticed that the site advisor was not working in google chrome so i installed it from there website and was prompted for a restart, during the restart i noticed that my computer took more time than usual to boot up, took like 20 seconds when it usually takes 5, maybe this was because of mcafee? Well anyways when i shut down my computer, it stated that windows was shutting down and blah blah, but my case still has its fans and led lights on and the cpu fan was still spinning. And my monitor is black and saying there is no signal, but the cpu fan, case fans, and case lights are still on. My question is what happened!
