I came home one day from being out of town for the weekend. I came home and turned my computer on, for a moment it started to boot and then powered off. I attempted to power it on again and it would not turn on. I tried the computer in a different location, same result.
I contacted the company I bought the pre-built computer from and in talking with the tech he "determined" it was either the PSU or the motherboard. I went out and bought another PSU since the computer would not turn on. Hooked it up, all the cords, same thing. Talked with the techs again and we determined we would send in the mobo and chip thinking it may be either of those.
They were sent back, I attempted to use them in the same tower with all the same components I had from the purchase. Still nothing. I thought it may be the tower after talking with a friend.
Here's the previous computer set up, bought from newegg supplied by ipower. Thought it would be a good starter computer and over time up-gradable.

I recently received the new tower and transferred the pieces over to it.
Highlight: it powers on! CPU fan works, graphics card fan runs also, but does not show on the monitor/screen. Removed the ram to see if there was beeping I could hear, nothing given (may not have been doing that part right?) Removed the graphics card, plugged monitor into mobo directly, still nothing. Read other things that said it may be something that needed to reset the bios, removed the battery turned it on without the battery, then replaced the battery back into the mobo adter turning it off (all unplugged, of course).
I did notice though, before with the old mobo there was a green light that came on before the issues. Since I have had the new one back, I have not seen a light, but I don't see a light where it was before. Everything is plugged in as it should be, any help/insight would be great!
Thanks in advance.
