Recently got 2 Bitfenix spectre pro 120mm fans. I installed both of them (I also have a third fan installed at the back) then turned on the computer. All the fans in the case spun then stopped a split second later. I had plugged the led power into the psu via molecs. And the fan connectors were connected to the Mobo. I then noticed that if i had 2 fans plugged in my computer, it would work. But if all 3 were plugged then it would not turn on.

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 4.4ghz

Mobo: Asus b85 gamer pro

Gpu: gainward 560ti (Found this on the kerb :D)

Case: phanteks enthoo pro m

Fans: 2x 120mm bit fenix spectre pro red leds,
1x 140mm Phanteks *** fan

Psu: Corsair VS450

you do not plug both the motherboard fan connector + the molex to one fan, trying to fry something? you are connecting two power inputs together

I have the LED's connected to the PSU and the fan is powered by the Mobo.

Ok i figured out what was wrong.

I noticed that it was 1 of my fans causing the shutdowns. Every time this certain fan was connected it would shut it down.I went back to the store and asked them if they could tell me why. they tested the fan on one of their test benches and it was also causing shutdowns to their computer. Idk why but i was able to get a refund and got a new one.

Thanks for the help anyway,
