[SOLVED] Computer not turning on after applying thermal paste.

I tried to apply thermal paste and re-apply my heatsink. After re-installing my computer no longer turns on. No fan spin or front panel LED, only a flashing red light on the motherboard. My computer was working well before but idling at high temperature, so i decided to add thermal paste. The cpu looked discouloured in some parts at the bottom, potential burn mark? The pins were straight from what i could tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you added too much thermal paste and it seeped onto your motherboard. get it off quick with iso alcohol and if it still doesn’t work bring it to repair shop

Check cpu for bent pins. How much paste did you use? Check that all cables are firmly and securely plugged in.
