Hey guys, I've just started building a new computer and having a really weird issue.

Everytime I hit the on switch, I get power for a fraction of a second then it switches off and does nothing until the power button is pressed again.

I've tried removing everything expect a single stick of RAM and the processor and corresponding fan all to no avail.

Specs are:
H170-PLUS ASUS Motherboard
LGA1151 i7 6700K Processor
nVidia GTX 970 GFX
Coolermaster 212X CPU Fan
DDR4 G.Skill Ripjaws 32gb RAM
GX750 PSU

Ok, try it with the other psu if you can, you don't have to screw it in, just connect the essential cables, with only the main PC parts.(no gpu, sound card, ect...) it may be a hassle to do, seeing you are taking it out of main PC, but I think that's the problem, if you have removed everything else.

I've already completed all those steps prior to your post. The only thing I hadn't done was plug in the speaker. Now that it's plugged in, I'm still not getting any beep noises.

@AUnlikelyPotatoe

I've just tried it and again to no avail :/ it has the same problem with nothing plugged in other than CPU and the motherboard.

UPDATE:

I've managed to get it to stay on but none of the fans are turning on. The problem was the MOBO connector from the PSU was/is(?) faulty. If I push it in all the way it turns on for a fraction of a second then switches off. If it's just in enough to sit there and make contact with the pins, the computer stays on but the fans connected directly to the MOBO don't..

Any solutions?

Would you have any other solutions? I've tried everything I know.
