Hello everybody! I'm in a bit off a pickle and hope you guys can help me out. Since I had some USB issues (most ports not working for i think over a year) I wanted to update my bios. I tried updating it with the @bios utility (yeah, I NOW know thats a bad idea) to the lastest version (f15c), but no succes. After the update the computer boots up, lights and fans turn on, but I get no screen.

I tried removing cmos battery, circuiting cmos bios, qflashing the driver with the usb thing in the back (removed all other devices, renamed the file), and tried qflashing older driver (f14) all without success. When qflashing I do hear the pc working, but afterwards still no screen, still same issue. This is about as far as my technical knowledge goes, and I am lost. Anybody knows what I can still do?

Specs
Motherboards: Aurorus b550 Elite V2
GPU 3080ti founders
CPU Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM G.Skill DDR4 Flare-X 1x16GB 3200Mhz (had 2, 1 was broken so curentlly using 1)

Anybody has any idea what I can still do, or is it a lost cause?

so in this case qflash+ (using the button on the rear motherboard panel) didnt work? if so, remove ram, gpu, and cpu, leave the motherboard only (just atx power and cpu power connected to board) and proceed qflashing the latest bios again without them, and after you see the psu turned off after qflash+ the naked mobo, put everything back again and try to boot.

Thank you for reaching out. Will it be enough to remove the power cables that support the gpu and cpu? Or do I have to take them completely off? Always bit hesitant with messing with the cpu, but will tey it if you advise it.

it have to be completely taken off, leaving cpu cable and gpu cable only at the board. nothing plugged in the board, just cpu power and mobo power, and start qflashing+ with the method you'd learn.
