Computer not working when 2 sticks installed

So I have a GA-78LMT-S2 (rev. 1.2) and recently got 2 sticks of Kingston Hyperx 8GB ddr3 ram (1.5V). Previously my computer had 2 4GB sticks installed and it worked fine, only issue is the second slot of ram was always reserved for hardware. Another issue I couldn’t figure out. But when I installed these 2 sticks the computer would turn on but nothing would display on be monitor. If I take the ram out of the slot that’s always reserved for hardware the computer starts up perfectly fine. I’m stuck on a fix for this issue so I decided to ask here if anyone has ever come across this same issue before and if so are there any fixes.
