Computer not working

My computer won't let me log into profile,when I put my password in it comes up saying the user profile service, service failed logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

I recently used Method 1 from this link on Microsoft's site (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215) and it worked. Be careful to follow the directly explicitly. I strongly suggest you backup the registry before attempting the directions listed in Method 1.
