Question Computer not working (Windows 10)

I just rebooted my Windows 10 computer. Mcafee could not run a scan and for some reason I randomly looked in my downloads and saw a file that said "this computer has been blocked" and it looked like a notepad file and inside all it said was "warning" so I decided to reboot my PC because it has been slow anyways. After the reboot my PC won't load correctly, it starts off like it normally would but right after the initial Windows logo with the loading symbol the screen just goes black and all I can see is the cursor and it will just stay like that for hours if I leave it on. Then I got it to work for like half a day and then boom same problem after I restarted it because I couldn't open anything. So currently I'm just staring at a black screen with just my cursor. Any help would be great

Are you able to boot the Windows 10 computer into Safe Mode?

Then try running McAfee? Or remove it from Startup if it fails to run.

Look in Task Manager's Startup tab to see what all is being launched at startup. Google anything that you do not recognize.
