When I click on the default optimized settings button (f5) it reboot but instead of to the default log-in screen it went to the bios settings screen without an error message. After looking at it for awhile I realized that the boot priorities was totally messed up. Before I had 3 items with the first one having the word Intel in it but now there are only 2 drives with names of: "P7: WDC WD10EZEX-00BN5A0" and "P9:HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH14NS40" in that order. So my question is what this means and how would I go about fixing it, I would assume no but would if affect any stored information?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

EDIT: tried boot menu(f8) all of them just black screen for awhile and go back to bios screen while one SSD says missing operating system. Problem still stands 🙁

Hello Bruce, please try to remove your WDC hard drive's SATA power cable, keep your P9:HL-DT-ST connected and try to boot. If nothing happens, try to change your SATA connector and try all the SATA slot in your MB. Still nothing happens? Now remove the P9:HL-DT-ST hard drive and connect your WDC, reboot your PC.
When you loaded your default BIOS settings, did it change the SATA mode?
Your boot menu should show "boot manager" before the drive, so it's not detecting an OS installed. \

Since this coincided with a load of BIOS default,s I suspect this is the case.

Try switching the SATA mode to AHCI (if it's not already), and if it is, try the other options. It needs to match the selection from when the OS was installed.

My computer is already in AHCI, tried changing mode to IDE however nothing changed. Should I try changing it to RAID? Also when saying changing SATA mode you are talking about SATA Controller Mode Selection right?
