Computer only goes to bios

Using the computer regularly on the internet when all of a sudden the bios boots up and wont let me leave. After restart computer gets stuck on motherboard splash screen. No buttons work until i unplugged my hard drive. Bought a new ssd but cannot install software because no cd ports.Dont know what to do now

You don't need a "cd port". You can install the Operating System through USB devices. Just put it up there and get the job done son.
