Computer only using Wireless and not using wired

When i plug in my ethernet cable into my desktop it only uses the wireless connection and doesnt even detect that i have a wired connection to my modem. The light on the Ethernet cable is on letting my know its on.


I also just reinstalled windows 7 to fix a graphics card issue and before that it worked fine.

Thanks! i honestly cant believe this even slipped my mind i was so focused on my graphics drivers not crashing my computer i forgot about my other drivers....
