Question Computer only works with a 2700

Recently my computer stopped working after i tried to do a repaste of my CPU. I couldn’t figure out why so i threw a old CPU in a ryzen 2700 and the computer worked fine so i bought a 5800x3d to replace my old cpu but the computer doesn’t work with that either. I fully updated the bios before putting new CPU in. Does anyone know why this would be i’m guessing it’s my mobo that’s broken but why is it not happening to 2700.
Specs:
CPU: 5800x(old) 2700(working) 5800x3d(new replacement)
mobo: MSI Tomahawk WiFi
GPU:evga 3080 12gb xc3
ram: 4x8gb g.skill 3600 cl16

AM4 It was working fine with my 5800x up until that day now it only works with the 2700

Are all the pins on each of these processors in good shape? None bent or missing?
Did you get paste down into the socket?
