My computer recently made a loud popping noise and restarted itself. I'm not sure what happened, but from some searching I found it might be a blown capacitor. I was wondering if I could continue to use my computer normally or would that cause damage to other components, also does this mean my computer won't run for much longer before it completely stops working?

If you are sure its the capacitors then your motherboard wont last long, even when capacitors are starting to fail (bulging or rusting) then computers start doing random things, like randomly turning off or rebooting, graphics glitches etc

this is a good photo of what you might be seeing, and if this is what you have theres a high change your computer wont work well for much longer.

If all the capacitors look good, it might have been the power supply that popped. best to get everything thoroughly checked just to be sure.
