Question Computer powering off under load and won't reboot until power cycled

Hi, a bit of a big question/problem here.

A month or so ago, I finally replaced an old CPU fan that was dying out on me. It was a bit of a process since I've very rarely touched my computer since buying it in late 2019 ("pre-built", picked parts and the website built it for me). Ended up getting the CPU attached stuck to the old cooler, a few CPU pins were damaged in the process, and after what I hope was straightening them enough everything was working fine again, for a week or so.

Since then, every once in a while, my PC will turn off. No shut down, just an immediate power down. It reminded me of my CPU overheating, but the new fan works fine, and there was never an overheating message when rebooting. The new power down forces me to power cycle my PC however. I need to unplug and replug the power cable before I can restart, leading me to believe this is some sort of PSU issue. On the surface level, this made me think it was some type of overwattage problem, and somehow the new fan was drawing a tad too much power when the PC was under heavy usage? The only problem is once the first shutdown occurs, shutdowns afterward are much more frequent unless I leave my PC off for a long time. I could go days or over a week without a shutdown, but once the first one happens, they will continue to occur even under very light usage.

Based on this, I have a couple ideas of what it could be:

  1. Still an overwattage problem, although I don't know enough to say if it repeating quickly after the first shutdown would make sense here.
  2. My PSU is overheating, maybe due to the new CPU cooler changing the airflow of my case? This would at least make sense for the repeated shutdowns after the first one, if the ambient temperature in my room is getting too high and high PC load is causing the PSU to overheat, it may need a while to cool down before launching without another shutdown.

I'm tempted to buy a new PSU, but I want to make sure I'm on the right track first and it's not a motherboard problem, or if it is an overwattage problem if I need to upgrade the PSU rather than replace.

PC Specs:
Ryzen 7 3700x
ASUS Prime X570-P (AM4)
4GB 2060 Super
Cooler Master MWE Gold 750W Power Supply
Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 32GB (4x8GB)

New CPU Fan: Noctua NH-U12S (old fan came with the CPU)

Highest I've seen temps in HWMonitor is my CPU going around 87c during intensive use

If you have to power cycle the PSU after a shutdown there's a protection activated in the PSU that has to be reset. I've seen it before with the MWE Gold V1. Test with another PSU and if it keeps running you have to contact Cooler Master for a RMA.
