Computer Powers Off

So my FX 8320 arrived today and I've installed it, everything worked great until I started launching games on it, I got decent frame rates and everything seemed good, CPU running at 40-45 degrees Celsius. Then the computer just randomly shuts off without notice and the power button light just starts blinking for like 5 seconds

I'm at work right now so I cannot tell ye specific specifications but I have the

FX 8320 8 Core 3.5Ghz
Cooler Master Hyper X 103 CPU Cooler
Msi 760GM - P23 (FX)
GTX 750ti 2Gb DDR5
8Gb ram DDR3
And some 500W cheap power supply

My guess is that's the power supply is not strong enough for the 125W cpu, when running big titles because it doesn't turn off when playing rust and Arma 3 I want this to stop, so will I buy a corsair power supply next week or An motherboard? I'm getting the Msi 970 Gaming motherboard just so I can overclock it, because I cannot overclock on that motherboard due to vrms

Yes, start by getting a decent PSU. it probably can't put out 500w consistently or at all, and it's likely a ticking time bomb even if it does put 500w out

Any Corsair or EVGA PSU should be good. Get a 600W! Best of Luck!
