Computer powers on but no display or beep.

Computer powers on but doesn't display anything and no beep and then when I leave it off for a really long while it'll finally turn on and beep again. This is been going on for ages and now this time it hasn't beeped at all even after leaving it off for hours and it's really annoying.

When you do/did get the beep. Is it one short beep and nothing else? If yes=ram failure.

Yes it is usually one short beep as that was normally how it was when I first ever built my pc but now it just only displays when I hear a beep if I hear no beep then there's no display
