EDIT: This issue has been resolved.

Hello.

I recently bought parts to build my first custom PC. I've had a bit of trouble putting everything in the case (before that, of course, i made sure everything was working) and i've run into a wall. As it was stated in the title, my PC turns on but i get no POST and i have no display. I connected a monitor via VGA with the Motherboard (GPU needed HDMI and i didn't have any cable at the moment).

This is my build:

CPU: Intel Core i5 6600k
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming
Motherboard: Asus Z170-A
HDD: WD Blue 1TB
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 x1
Case: Corsair Carbide 200R
PSU: XFX TS Series 550W (Gold)

I made sure everything was put in the case correctly (cables, hardware). I should note that i do not have a speaker to hear any beeps. Any help is appreciated.

I removed the GPU, though it was really, really hard to remove it (the one side got out the other was stuck), and i got a display went to BIOS just fine. But i don't want to put the GPU back in in case it gets stuck again. I don't know why my GPU is at fault, so any help with that?

EDIT: It seems that i needed to connect the HDMI to the GPU and by connecting in to the Motherboard with a VGA cable seems to have caused this... Well, this was a useless thread. Sorry about that.
