Computer problem (boot)

my computer has a very very big problem booting up ! like i have to click restart so many times before it would boot up i could make coffee eat and take a pee break before it would start :3 .
When i press the power button nothing happens but eventually it boots up . but what you guys think is the problem ? . it started when i lost all my files on the desktop , and desktop only everything except recycle bin and computer .

Running Win 8.1 64bit
4gig Ram
AMD A6-3500 APU with radeon HD graphics 2.10ghz
Hard Disk : Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 ATA Device (500GB)
Mainboard : ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. F1A55-M LK R2.0

Note already checked ram . and refitted every socket and wire . also CPU checked and PSU

is it even getting to windows before the funk happens?

if so refresh your PC - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc

also get more ram. 4gb is pushing it with windows 8.

No not close , once i press the power button fans and everything work but wont boot . nothing shows on screen and not even the booting sound. :3
