Hello,
If my comp has 8GB of DDR2 RAM, can I use a graphics card that uses DDR3 or 5? or do I have to stick with a DDR2 graphics card?

A graphics card has its memory on its own board, it does not interact with the main memory of the system so it doesnt matter if your board uses the same type of memory as the graphics card. You can use a DDR3 or GDDR5 graphics card on a motherboard with DDR2 as long as you have a PCI-E 16x slot.

Just like shadow said above, the RAM memory is completely different from GPU memory, don't worry about that. :)

If you are on a plan to buy a card then tell us the rest of your specs, cpu, PSU, motherboard, monitor, budget, OS...
