Question Computer random randomly crashes but turning monitors off/on fixes it sometimes?

so yeah as the title says sometimes my pc crashes when playing games, i can move my cursor and can hear sound but cant click or do anything sometimes turning my monitors off and back on again fixes this issue? what even could cause this issue?

i7 7700k 4.5ghz
Asus Strix B250F Gaming Intel B250
Team Group Night Hawk LED 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHz
5700xt strix edition
be quiet 850w psu bronze certified
2x AOC 24" 144hz monitors.

So I keep getting a strange crash and its happening more and more. when playing games and in some cases when I start games up my computer freezes, a lot of cases when I turn my monitors off and back on again it goes back to normal but then it happens during games too? another crash I have encountered is pretty much the same but instead of just freezing it goes to a black screen and then display the DP input on my monitor like nothing is plugged in? does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?! its been bugging me!
