Question Computer randomly becomes unresponsive but remains on.

So I've been having this issue for awhile now where at seemingly random times, my computer monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones, and microphone all stop working, but the computer stays on. The only way I know to fix this is to hold down the power button and reboot. I would like to find a permanent solution to prevent this from happening. I'm not very tech-savvy when it comes to this sort of thing so please try to explain things simply if you can.

CPU: AMD FX- 4300 Quad-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
GPU: Radeon RX 460 Graphics
RAM: 16 GB

check for overheating? what the make and model of the psu?
