For some time now my computer has been randomly freezing, happens at random times while watching movies, surfing the web etc etc sometimes for seconds sometimes for up to a minute never had to manually restart because of this. It started a while back and I tried to update my bios and ended up bricking my MB, computer completely froze in the middle of the update so I sent my motherboard back to MSI and got a new one, so I know it's not the motherboard. I've tested the ram I come to you guys cause I do not know of anything else I can do to figure this out.
I've noticed recently that while watching movies and it freezing it loops the movie say 5 - 10 seconds backwards from it's current position and plays it over and over until it's done, used to do that before but now the video is really pixelated for about 5 - 10 seconds afterwards. Makes me wonder could it be my GPU?

So what I am asking is what can I do to test the rest of my hardware or what can I do to attempt to figure out why my computer is freezing randomly. It's really irritating, tried windows 7 still did it reinstalled my OS still did it. Tried windows 8.1 still doing it. Please can anyone/everyone throw some advice or suggestions on the table it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

This is my build

I tested all the temps. I posted on here a while back and people said the temps were fine. People kinda stopped responding to the post it seems to happen often and I decided to deal with it and just can't anymore getting ready to sell it and but a laptop. Unless I can get it fixed.

Have you successfully updated the new motherboard to the newest BIOS? And do you have all the latest drivers for everything? MSI has a tool called 'Live Update' that will scan for any drivers needed, and can flash the BIOS in Windows without needing to boot into the BIOS.

Finally have a chance to do this. I'm gonna attempt this and I'll let you know how it goes in a few days or so. If it doesn't happen in a week or two then It will be fixed.

Well, I have found that my MB bios is up to date. I'm also starting to notice the freezing more after longer periods of watching movies. Will freeze for a minute or so and then it will start happening every 5 minutes or so during movies after the first instance. Is there a way to really test my video card?
