Computer randomly freezing and mouse keyboard lights turn off

Hello guys

My issue would be that my computer is freezing seemingly at random and mouse and keyboard lights turn off

Interestingly the fans the screen and the lights in the computer seem unaffected

It seem to only happen when I'm trying to use the write function on my hdd

When gaming listening music or installing downloading stuff on my ssd no problems

When I try to install a program to my HDD or download a file to my HDD its freeze time 25% of times

Seem to occur more the bigger the file is

If I restart the computer and I try to install/download the same file a second time it usually works fine

Because of when it occurs I'm suspecting a faulty HDD but I don't know any good programs to test this :/

Could you help me figure out a solution?

I used western digital data lifeguard diagnostics tool that found no errors :/
