I recently did an over clock according to this guide http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2749337/safe-gpu-overclocking After a successful overclock, I was playing GTA V and my screen flashed red, blue, and green at one point freezing in the process. I had to hold down my power button to do a hard shut down. I then started up my PC again and reduced the memory clock offset. This time, my game lasted longer without issues until the audio glitched out and my screen went black. My PC then rebooted automatically. Does this have to do with my power supply not being able to handle the additional voltage I added in MSI afterburner? What does increasing the voltage do exactly and can I get extra performance without touching the voltage settings? For more information, My card is the MSI GTX 750 Ti and my power supply is Corsair CX500.

Its pulling more power when you overclock from the wall and your psu needs to convert that power hence why you need a efficient psu

@sydneyblue203 But how do I know how much power it's pulling from the wall and whether it's more than my power supply can or not? I added 31 mV to the core voltage offset in MSI Afterburner if that's any help
