I've had an issue with my computer randomly resetting when under medium to heavy use (most of the time gaming). Originally i thought it may have been overheating or an error when with my HDD or software or something. I download speedfan and HD tune pro and couldn't find any errors at all and the temperature are all good even when it restarts (i had speedfan running while I was gaming the GPU temp got to about 79C but its still within safe range and the CPU was about 33C).

I turned off auto restart in the windows 10 settings hoping it would tell me an error code i could look up, but my PC still keeps restarting. I then thought maybe it was my PSU not being sufficient and what I noticed in speedfan in the power section the voltage changes between 10.15V and 12.17V.

Does this seem like it could be the PSU failing and restarting due to a lack of power? The PSU is about 5 years old and a 550W supply.

My specs are:

motherboard: AM3+ gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750
CPU: AMD FX(tm) -8320 eight core 3.5GHz
CPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212x

Is my PSU on it's way out, not sufficient for my set up or is it another issue entirely?

Thanks in advance.
