Computer randomly shutdown but fans kept running

Hi guys sad day today because my computer randomly shutdown. When it happened i thought i lost electricity because i still heard the fans running so i went to hold my power button down on my case and my computer wouldn't shut down after several attempts so i manually switched off the power supply and the fans turned off. But now the computer does not turn on Thanks

Any chance it was going through a system update (perhaps initiated automatically) at the time? One of those updates where it says things like 'your compute may restart several times ... don't power off the system while the update is in process'?
What happens when you try to turn it on - anything?

Does not turn on, usually windows warns me about updates

could be psu or gpu issue
what is your full system spec? include make and model of the psu

no power at all, computer shutdown and fans kept running. Manually shut it down and it down turn on and here are my specs

asus maximus vi hero
corsair 750w bronze atx
gtx 1060
intel i7-4770k
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) ram
corsair h100i

Update: So i tested my psu separately with only the case fan and got the case fan to run. So does that mean its the motherboard?

No just means psu looks ok. Could still also be gpu (or maybe some other part - cpu, ram, ...) but it might be the motherboard.

take the gtx 1060 out and try turning on with the igpu.
if that doesn't work. it might be the motherboard or psu.

So try running with just psu and motherboard connected? i tried and nothing. No LED light, no beep, just lifeless
