Hey! I am having a problem with my PC. It doesn't matter what i do, whether im playing games or just browsing the internet. My computer sometimes just shuts down without any warning and after a few seconds it turns on again. I dont get any overheating messages or any errors. Just a normal boot, but slower. And when i see the windows log in screen, the wallpaper has changed to a different one (don't know whats that about). I have tried to search for some answers online, but haven't found any. Anyone who could help me with this problem? Its getting a little annoying, because it happens few times a week just out of nowhere.

Specs: (Pre Built)
CPU: AMD A8-7600
GPU: Radeon R7 340
RAM 8GB DDR3

Solution
the ASUS manual isnt helpful either. it always say "bring to the ASUS affiliated repair center". rofl.
if you are not confident with disassembling PCs. i suggest you watch some youtubes or just simply bring that to the shop to have them look at it for you.

you can also try to just update your BIOS in case you havent already. the last BIOS was from 2017/05. its got some stability updates for your system. the BIOS update will reset your motherboard settings at least. visit the mobo support site to download and restinall some drivers. start with the chipset INF drivers.

but i think your PSU/motherboard maybe dying already considering the symptoms you mentioned.

No there isnt, One second its on then lights from the pc go dark and power button too. And i wait for a few seconds it turns on and normal boot, but pretty slow.

is it a new PC? did you do any overclocking in the BIOS? most probably the auto voltage settings in your BIOS is unstable. you can try the following :
* first shutdown your PC. unplug power cord. turn off PSU. press power button for 1min.
* remove all your RAM and GPU.
* clear CMOS.
https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-clear-cmos-2624545
* put them all back in and boot.

if it doesnt work, then you have a faulty hardware somewhere.

Not a new pc, couple years old. And never done overclocking and this started happening like 5 months ago, so i dont really know what to think. And it might be hard for me to start taking parts off since its pre built pc and its in quite a small case so for me to take the ram off i would need to take like everything out. Any other suggestions or should i try your way still?

Alright ill take a look, thanks.

if you do decide to look inside your PC yourself, there maybe dust thats clogging up your airways inside that PC. you can try to do some spring cleaning insde. also watch youtubes on how to clean PC of dust. clear them away around the fans and the heatsinks. dust can cause systems to shutdown abnormally.
