Hi friends,
Spent some times ghosting on the forums seeing if I could find a similar situation but can't seem to find one. This is my first home build and the computer seems to run fine for a few hours, and then completely shut off. If I try to start it back up again it will run for a while and then restart. If it has been running all day it does not seem to want to start back up by the end of the day.

Originally I had a 500 watt power supply and though this was my issue, so I swapped it out for a 750 watt power supply but am still having issues with the computer just randomly shutting off. I have never gotten a message in BIOS or Windows 10 about the computer, it just simply boots back up when I turn it back on.

The one think I have noticed is that the CPU is running around 70 degrees celsius when I am gaming, but I did not think this to be overly high. Any suggestions as to why my computer is shutting itself off?

Thanks!

Solution
70 celsius is not ok. Get core temp and run that. hopefully that temp is just misread/misreported. If those readings turn out to be correct, your CPU cooler/thermal paste may not be installed correctly. Are you using the stock cooler?
