Computer Randomly Slowed Down and Lags

My computer was totally fine. I was playing a game and started to disconnect frequently which is a problem I've never ran into. I started disconnecting more and more and now I'm at the point where I can't load anything, I can't connect to anything, not even a website will open anymore. My computer says I'm connected to the internet though.

it sounds to me like a virus or malware issue but with limited knowledge of the situation its hard to tell look in task manager to see the usage of open programs and see what is being used where

Under "Processes" there is many things open that are taking up memory. Several of these do not have any or my user name underneath them. Could that be because of a virus or malware?

it could try googleing the names of the programs that are in there and see what you come up with

Have you recently downloaded anything, shortly before the problem occurred? Have you been to any abnormal websites? (Abnormal, in this case, being outside of your normal pattern of websites)

If not a virus you could try reseting everything. Network adapter, router, and computer.
