I'm not sure this is in the right section, apologies if it is in the wrong section.
I don't know the cause of what just happened, for the first time since building this pc about a year ago, it just turned off randomly without any warning whatsoever.#
Specs:
AMD FX-8350 CPU
8GB corsair vengeance RAM
Evga supernova 650w 80 plus gold PSU
Gigabyte nvidia geforce gtx 780 GPU
Corsair h70 cpu cooler
Ok so I was just on the internet, not gaming or anything that would pin the system at a high usage, and everything just shut off, I immediately checked for any obvious issues like smoke etc, couldn't smell anything and there was no physical smoke or anything of the sort coming from inside the case upon removing the side panel.
The cpu block, pipes and radiator are only very slightly warm to the touch, there wasn't anything wrong with what i could see so i went ahead and pressed the on button again, this time only 4 seconds later it shut down and this time unplugged the psu, waited for 3-5 mins and then plugged it back in hoping i could atleast turn it on to see the temps, and now it hasn't shut down on me again (fingers crossed) and temps seem normal!
Any ideas what caused this? Help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks
