Computer reboots IMMEDIATELY after even attempting to overclock GPU

I've got an Asus A8V with an Athlon 64 3800+ and a Radeon HD 2600 Pro AGP. Any time I try to overclock my graphics card, the machine instantly reboots. Straight to the bios screen like I hit the reset button. In my last machine (which this graphics card came from), it did the same thing, although I have overclocked the card before in another one of my machines.

Anyway, what would be causing this kind of issue? Could it be related to my power supply? It's 550 watts, but also by some company I've never heard of.

Dont overclock your card. Who cares if it worked before its getting old and it wears out, and eventually slows down.

It dont matter what the forums about. I matters that your to stupid to realize your junk dont want to be pushed farther.

this forum is for overclocking GOOD HARDWARE!! altho i admit... my 7600GS AGP was a bunch of carp and i still was able to overclock it 50%... whether or not this was a freak chip idk but with that chip u got atm, NO OVERCLOCK!
