Computer reboots unprompted

Hey there,

So my pc reboots, appears to be while under load. In particular while playing games. It always boots back into Windows just fine.

My rig:
Cpu: i5 6500
Motherboard: msi h110
Gpu: gtx 1070
Ram: 8gb
Psu: evga 500w

My guess so far is its my psu. Just can't power the system, as it's kinda crappy. Haven't checked cpu temp yet, but gpu is fine.

If anyone knows what's going on, I would appreciate some help!

Look in event viewer under windows logs/system.

If there are any event id: 41(63) errors. If you didn't press reset, this can mean a faulty PSU

Look in the event viewer and see what it says. best place to start.

Other than that it sounds like either a bad BIOS setting or bad part. I'm leaning towards a Bad BIOS setting myself.

Alright I got some event ID 41s. Think I'll probably get a new psu. Sound like a good idea or is there something else I should try first?
