So I built my own PC about a year ago and this problem has raised after a while of use. It seems that when I am under load my pc tends to reboot itself without any errors. The monitor turns black and then I see my BIOS picture and Windows comes back up. Also while playing games once in a while I notice a weird smell filling up the room from my pc and it bothers me quite a bit. I had an old PSU called the cx430 and then I changed to a seasonic ssr-650rm because I suspected the cx430 to be faulty. I installed the seasonic and it seemed fine after a few weeks until my PC started to have the same exact problems. I think it may be a CPU overheating issue but I have used AMD overdrive to check my thermal margin under load which seems fine according to another thread.

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 760K
GPU: MSI R7 260X
RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM
PSU: SeaSonic SSR-650RM
Operating System: Windows 10

Please help me figure out what's going on,
Thanks!

Yea I have doubts that it is the PSU since this has happened before with a previous PSU with the same exact problems. How should I check if it is a faulty GPU? I have run a Prime95 test on my CPU before and it seemed fine according to AMD overdrive so I'm not sure anymore lol.

Also, would the smell be caused by dust burning because I just noticed some amount of dust on top of my GPU.
