My computer has started to randomly restart when playing games. Like Ark, ATLAS, R6S, Fortnite, Rust, and CSGO. What is happening is that when im in the game, everything is fine, its running perfectly and nothing seems bad. But then a few minutes (around 3-5min) later when im in game play (not the main menu) my computer turns off completely and then starts itself up a few seconds later. No warning, no msg, and when it starts back up no msg either. I would like help and here is what ive tried.
I have tried:
Looking up multiple things about this and nothing works.
Underclocking and Overclocking my gpu
Changing my cpu max power to 65%
Resetting my pc (This worked for 1 day after resetting, then started again), 3 times.
Checking all updates/drivers for (I think) everything
Heres what I have:
Motherboard: ROG STRIX x470-f Gaming
PSU: AX1200 Corsair (This is old, very old. Ig about 6 years but not sure)
CPU: Amd Ryzen 7 r700x 3700mhz
GPU: EVGA 1080 SC
RAM: 16gb GSKILL RIPJAWS DDR4 2133
SSD: Nv.Me 75GB
HDD: OCZ-VERTEX3 MI (This is what i got from device manager, and what everything is installed on.)
Monitors:
1 (Main) - LG Ultra HD 4k (Set to 1080p) 59Hz
2 - SAMSUNG U28E590 4k (Set to 1080p) 60Hz
4 200mm fans
2 gpu fans
1 cpu fan
1 back 120mm fan
Temps: While nothing open:
CPU:
39°C
Load - 2%
Clock 4k MHz
GPU:
54°C
Load - 0%
Clock 1.8k MHz
While gaming:
CPU:
53°C
Load - 25%
Clock - 4k Mhz
GPU:
58°C
Load - 80%
Clock - 1.9k MHz
I made this computer hand built from new parts last February of 2018.
I will give more information if needed but this is all I can think about that is needed. Ples halp! Thank you!
