I recently built a new system, and ever since boot it will sometimes restart itself. No BSOD, no error, nothing.

It's not entirely random, there are defintely triggers that force a restart. It really dislikes certain games. My Summer Car and Cities: Skylines cause an almost instantaneous restart, but other, more taxing games, like Destiny 2 and Ghost Recon Wildlands run without problem.
I've been unable to determine whether it's a hardware or software problem, but I've been trying to sort this out for months now. I've been watching the Event Viewer to try and determine the cause, but the system seems to be operating normally up until shutdown without any consistent events.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any advice on how I can solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
Well make sure your drivers are all up to date. What you could try is since your 9700k has integrated graphics remove you GTX 960 and see if it ever restarts while running off integrated graphics.
