[SOLVED] Computer restarting when opening task manager windows 10

Hello, I've been working on my parent's computer. When I opened the task manager the computer restarted. So I tried opening task manager two more times and it does open, however when it does it immediately restarts the computer. This definitely seems worrying to me, doesn't seem like normal behaviour however when I googled "restarting on task manager" I can't find any more information. Any idea what could be causing this and is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

Thanks, I'm running an SFC scan now. Looks like it has been stuck at 9% for a while but I'll give it chance to finish.

could be hdd failing.
