Hi,

I wasn't sure which topic to file this under, because I don't know exactly where the issue is. I hope this is the right place. My computer restarts itself when I do a force shut down (holding the power until it shuts off). After a few seconds, my computer automatically turns itself back on. Is there a reason this would happen? Is there a way to prevent this? Below is a link to a video I shot of it happening (sorry for my shoddy camera work):

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Disable "Automatic Restart on Power Loss" in the BIOS, should stop that.

Otherwise, the switch on the tower is probably worn down, or there's something maintaining the connection.

You shouldn't hold the power button anyway, unless it's locked up completely.

Solution
It was locked up completely. I had noticed the issue a while back. Since I had the chance to record it this time, I took the opportunity. If the switch is worn down, is this an important issue? Or should I just deal with it?
